The end of anything important in your life is accompanied by many emotions. You may feel grief, regret, and pain. Mixed in to that, though, will be all the memories, the good feelings, the happiness... all the things that get us through to our own ends.

This album for me represents that journey. I imagine the relationship between two people coming to an abrupt end after so many happy years together. I imagine the view point of the person left behind initially feeling lost and alone, eventually finding some acceptance and maybe even a reconnection in the end.
